Training, Renovating and Rebuilding for a Charity in Haiti
We are off to Haiti next to assist a small UK based charity called 'The Haiti Hospital Appeal' working in the northern city of Cap Haitien, bringing relief to communities still affected by the earthquake and assisting in the cholera epidemic. We will be building a security wall around one of the charities recently purchased buildings so that they can house volunteers safely when on the ground, as well as helping refurbish the building. We will also be funding a water training program which will include the training of community elders, the handing of water purification tablets in the local slum and the restoration of toilet facilities within that slum.
